An agreement requesting the consent and approval of Gable regarding the billing for the film Band Of Angels. The agreement stipulates that Gable’s name will be the same size as the film’s title and that the names of Sydney Poitier and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. will “be displayed not as prominently as your name and in not more than 50% of the size type used to display your name.” Furthermore, the agreement states that “On the advertising and publicity issued by us, or under our direct control, we would like to accord ‘Also Starring’ billing to Mr. Poitier immediately following the title of the picture and in size type not larger than 50% of the size type used to display your name and not as prominently as your name.” Gable’s large, bold signature is at the bottom left of the document. In fine condition, with scattered light creasing, a small area of paper loss towards the upper left and a bit of edge wear to the top border. PSA/DNA LOA and R&R COA.
