Description

“Working hard on our legistlative programme” during his brief tenure as Governor of New Jersey

TLS, one page, 8 x 9.75, State of New Jersey Executive Department letterhead, April 10, 1911. Wilson writes to Colonel William C. Liller in Indianapolis. In full: “Thank you sincerely for letting me see the enclosure. We are working hard on our legislative programme here and I feel that it is rather shaky business to leave it, but of course I am coming.” In fine condition, with staple holes, tiny edge tear, and light handling wear, the letter appearing clean and bright overall. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
