Extremely rare and heavenly photo of the “Gray Ghost”

Confederate ranger whose guerrilla band specialized in attacking and disrupting Union supply lines. Mosby’s nickname, the “Gray Ghost,” was derived from his clandestine attack tactics. Very rare vintage sepia 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo by Wolff’s Gallery of Alexandria, Virginia, signed under his image in black ink, “Jno. S. Mosby.” In very fine condition, with a few trivial spots to background. Extremely rare in signed photographs of any type. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
