TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, Executive Mansion letterhead, August 12, 1932. Letter of thanks. In full, “Thank you for sending me the letter about the aeroplane. However, I am not going to fly any more during the campaign unless something unexpected happens. I think I need to keep my feet on the ground! See you soon.” In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds affecting a couple letters of signature, two punch holes to left edge and two Roosevelt and O’Connor stamps to top right.
