Italian composer of modernist tendencies (1883–1947) perhaps best known for his “retrospective” works Scarlattiana and Paganiniana. Vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo, signed and inscribed (in Italian) in ink to Ileana Leonidoff and dated 1938, with the composer adding a two-measure musical quotation.
