Document states, in part, “Members of the company must have outstanding physique, must be persons of high intelligence with exceptional moral standards and perfect service records.” Signed at the bottom left in black ink, “Douglas MacArthur,” and countersigned by the squad’s commanding officer. Double matted with a Life magazine cover, dated September 10, 1945, and a small plaque, to an overall size of 14.5 x 37.5. In very good condition, with edge tears and creasing to left side, lightly affecting beginning of signature and a bit of mild toning. R&R COA. Oversized.
