Army general (1880–1959) whose ambitious plan for rebuilding Europe in the aftermath of World War II earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1955. FDC, 6.5 x 3.5, with a cachet honoring Marshall, signed in blue ink, “G. C. Marshall.” The cover also bears postmarks from two cities named, respectively, “George” and “Marshall.” A hint of very subtle soiling, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
