Can’t “improvise” with the IRS

American musician (1909–1959) acclaimed as one of the greatest tenor sax and clarinet players in the history of jazz. He finally succumbed, after a long struggle with alcoholism, at the age of forty-nine. Partially printed DS, signed in pencil, one page, 8.5 x 5.5, 1943. Young’s W-2 (Income Tax Withheld on Wages) form for calendar year 1943. Young reported $125.00 in wages from the Essex Amusement Corporation of Newark. Very faint vertical fold, otherwise very fine, crisp condition. R&R COA.
