In part, “I do not know whether my portrait of Edwin Booth was ever photographed or reproduced so that I cannot help you in your desire to include it in your memoirs of the Player’s Club.” In fine condition, with light show-through from bold text on reverse and a bisecting horizontal mailing fold.
