War-dated DS as president, one page, 8 x 10, February 18, 1864. President Lincoln orders “the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to a Warrant for the pardon of Robert L. Weakley, dated this day and signed by me and for so doing this shall be his warrant.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink, “Abraham Lincoln.” Storage folds intersecting through the signature and some scattered light soiling and wrinkling, otherwise fine condition.
