TLS as president signed “Jerry Ford,” one page, 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, February 5, 1975. Ford writes to a collector in Nashville. In full: “I understand that you and your husband, Dr. J. W. Storer, former President of the Southern Baptist Convention, have a collection of the actual signatures of all of the Presidents of the United States. May I congratulate you both on the time and effort you have exerted in securing such a collection. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to complete your collection to date.” In very fine condition. A terrific collecting association from a president whose letters tend toward the routine!
