Officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows are the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force, based at RAF Scampton, United Kingdom. They were formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by various RAF commands. Flight-flown commemorative cover, 6.5 x 4.25, bearing a color cachet of the Arrows in formation, signed on the front in ballpoint by Chuck Yeager and Franz Woidich, as well as all nine members of the Arrows: B. R. Hoskins, M. D. Howell, W. Ward, B. C. Scott, S. R. Johnson, T. R. Watts, N. J. Wharton, R. M. Thomas, B. S. Walters and M. W. McClelland, who has signed on the reverse.
