Original signed ink sketch of Joe DiMaggio in his Yankees uniform, done by artist George Hessler in 1984, and so signed by the artist, on an off-white 9.25 x 12 card, signed in red felt tip by DiMaggio. Sketch is in turn signed and inscribed by the artist, “To Professor Leon Warshay with belated thanks for ‘Modern Sociological Theory’ George Haessler 1989.” In fine condition, with a few small liquid paper corrections made by the artist.
