Vintage glossy 10 x 8 promotional photo of Ellington tickling the ivories, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To ‘Mush’ Best wishes, Duke Ellington, July 5/37.” According to the collector’s notations on the reverse, the signature was obtained backstage at Loew’s State Theatre on July 5, 1937.
