Letter from Eiffel just two years after completion of his tower

French engineer best remembered for designing the tower that bears his name. ALS in French, signed “G. Eiffel,” one page, 5.5 x 8.25, April 20, 1891. Letter to a friend. In full, “I am reminding you that I asked you to let me know the cost of your studies for your Lacroix turbine project; you would oblige me by sending it to me without delay.” Eiffel was also a pioneer in the field of aviation theory and created the first aerodynamics laboratory in 1912 outside of Paris. In fine condition, with a bisecting horizontal mailing fold. R&R COA.
