Printed replica plaque of the one left on the moon by Apollo 11 in 1969, 8.25 x 7, printed on corrugated cardboard. Plaque reads, “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon, July 1969, A. D., We came in peace for all mankind.” Signed at the bottom in black felt tip, “Neil Armstrong,” “M. Collins,” and “Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr.” Consignor notes that the plaque was originally included in a 1969 Lunar Lander model, which was then sent to the Apollo 11 crew for their signatures. In fine condition, with a couple of mild vertical bends, staple hole to upper left corner, and light vertical lines of toning. Great item which represents the best in America and the unequalled achievements of the Apollo moon missions. COA Scott Cornish and R&R COA.
