Maud and I remember Chicago with great pleasure and with gratitude for your hospitable intentions, The weather today reminds me of that which a little darkened our pleasant visit. We have had nearly a week of North Easterly Storms…I am taking up threads of correspondence in view of a lecture trip, which may include your city.” In fine condition, with light show-through from text on reverse.
