Description

“Thanks for the good words about Different Seasons ... I thought you didn’t like the book!”

TLS, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, October 25, 1982. King responds to a fan. In part: “Thanks for the good words about Different Seasons; glad you liked it. I was worried; I thought when I first read your letter that you were saying I SHOULD confine myself to horror, and I thought you didn’t like the book! But you did, and I’m glad, and I’m also glad you let me know…. I haven’t been back [to Colorado] since I lived in Boulder in 1975. Sometimes people impersonate me; that must be who your sons saw…. Tabby sends her thanks; she’s working on another one.” In fine condition, with a touch of mild toning and edge wear. R&R COA.
