Vintage Qantas Airlines in-flight menu, 7 x 8, four pages, featuring a work from artist Russell Drysdale affixed to the front cover, and apparently from first-class judging by the items offered, signed in black ballpoint, “Paul McCartney,” “George Harrison,” John Lennon,” and “Ringo Starr.” The Beatles arrived in Australia for their one and only tour of the country on June 11, 1964, with fill-in drummer Jimmy Nichol, who was substituting for Ringo, who was back home recovering from tonsillitis. Ringo rejoined the band on June 14th, where the y played several more dates in Australia and New Zealand. Research indicates that the Beatles flew home to England on July 1, 1964 aboard a Qantas airline, arriving home at 11:10 p. m. on July 2. In very good condition, with scattered light soiling and foxing to covers, a few hints of toning to signed page and light creasing to front cover and artist’s image.
