Two-piece navy herringbone wool suit worn by Bogart in the 1938 film Crime School, costarring the Dead End Kids and directed by Lewis Seiler. The waistband of the cuffed pants bears the handwritten notation “ACC #230 HB” and sewn-in Warner Brothers Pictures label with the handwritten notation “Bogart,” while the inside of one pocket bears an “American Costume, Hollywood, California” stamp and the ink notation “Abercrombie.” The inside of one coat sleeve bears the same American Costume stamp and similar handwritten notations, including “Doubles.” Accompanied by a copy of the book Hollywood Portraits: Humphrey Bogart, which includes a photo of Bogart in the film.
