A manuscript legal document related to the settlement of the estate of Joseph Nicholson, which had evidently led to a heated dispute among the decedent’s heirs. Accompanied by several pages of early dealer documentation and a circa 1950s transcript on Lincoln Library letterhead. In very good condition, with folds (partial separations touching a few words of the text), light toning and scattered soiling (slightly touching signature), light spots and stains, folds and wrinkling, and edge wear with a few small chips and tears.
