A king’s ransom? Frederick the Great signs a letter related to coinage

King of Prussia from 1740 to 1786 who earned particular note for his military successes and domestic reforms that made his nation one of the most powerful in Europe. LS in German, signed “Frederic,” one page, 7.25 x 9, August 30, 1769. A communication to the director of the mint in Breslau. In part (translated): “The royal Majesty of Prussia … received the report, including the investment papers about the Breslau coin … with great appreciation. The surplus that was obtained was received on the 16th of this month by Minister of State Buchholz.” In fine condition, with faint folds and just a hint of mild scattered soiling. R&R COA.
