Nobel prize winning chemist

Nobel Prize–winning chemist (1912–1999) who was instrumental in the discovery of several elements. Element 106, Seaborgium, was named in his honor in 1994, the first such distinction ever bestowed upon a living person. Glossy 8 x 10 photo of Seaborg seated at his desk, nicely signed in black ink; an FDC, 6.5 x 3.75, with a cachet honoring the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Science, signed on the front in black ballpoint; and an eight-page typesript of the Franck Report, issued on June 11, 1945, which recommended a demonstration of the atomic bomb with hopes that this act would persuade Japan to surrender, signed on the last page in black ink by Seaborg. In fine condition. R&R COA.
