Mailing envelope, 6.5 x 3.75, with “Arm For Defense” printed along the bottom and a small military cachet in the top left corner, signed on the front in black ink, “A. Einstein, I. 1942”; and a felt tip signature, “Charles Chaplin,” on an off-white 4.5 x 3.5 gold bordered collector’s card. Accompanied by a glossy 10 x 8 photo of Chaplin and Einstein in tuxedos at the world premiere of Chaplin’s film City Lights. Einstein was Chaplin’s personally invited guest to the January 30, 1931, world premiere.
