Italian conductor. During his lengthy career, Toscanini was the Musical Director of Las Scala in Milan, and conductor of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Mesmerizing vintage matte-finish 7 x 9 photo of Toscanini sitting in a chair and resting his head in his hand, signed and inscribed in white ink “To Ed Herlihy, with my best wishes, Arturo Toscanini (1946).” Herlihy was a broadcaster.
