Scarce original bright red admission pass to the 1935 National Air Races in Cleveland, printed on heavy pasteboard, 5 x 3, signed in fountain pen, “Amelia Earhart.” The pass has also been signed by three other aviation notables: Clyde Pangborn (1894–1958), the first person to fly nonstop across the Pacific Ocean; (in pencil) Harold Neumann (1906–1995), famed barnstormer and racer; and (in pencil) Ben Howard (1904–1970), pilot and aeronautical engineer who won both the Bendix Trophy and the Thompson Cup in 1935.
