In part: “You were most thoughtful to send me the very attractive tie from your new men’s wear collection. I am most grateful. Congratulations on the development of this excellent men’s wear collection.” Also included: ALS, signed “Jerry Ford,” one page, 6.25 x 8.5, embossed personal letterhead, December 24, 1983. Another letter to the same recipient. In part: “Because Betty is doing a lot of last minute shopping for the family she asked me to write with our appreciation for your Christmastime thoughtfulness. The beautiful Republican tree trimmings are already appropriately displayed.” In fine condition, with usual folds, a touch of scattered soiling, and ink of ALS somewhat faded but fully legible.
