Commemorative cover, 6.5 x 3.75, bearing a September 2, 1945, cancellation mark, signed in fountain pen by MacArthur. After MacArthur signed this cover, it was very nicely embellished by a New York artist honoring V-J Day drawing Lady Victory, Allied flags and the defeated Japanese flag. In fine condition, with small lines of artwork over portions of MacArthur’s signature. R&R COA.
