In a Trump-worthy transaction, Robert Morris grants nearly half a million acres in Virginia

Signer of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution from Pennsylvania. DS, signed “Robt. Morris” twice on the final page, six pages on three sheets, 9.75 x 15.5, March 13, 1795. A detailed document in which Morris and his wife, Mary, “in consideration of one Mexican dollar,” assign to William Cramond a 480,000-acre parcel of land in Wythe County, Virginia. The final page has also been signed by Mary Morris and a number of witnesses. In fine condition, with faint folds, toning, small hole to one page and a few marginal chips, and some minor scattered soiling. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
