Legendary film director (1892–1947) best known for his sophisticated comedies and the fabled “Lubitsch touch.” Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Lubitsch with a large dog, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mush from Ernst Lubitsch,” with an additional illegible notation. In fine condition, with some subtle brushing to signature, scattered mild dings, a touch of wear to corners, marginal traces of adhesive residue, and tiny marginal chip; most of the above faults are quite minor and can easily be matted out, and none affects the overall visual impact .
