Color limited edition 25 x 30 lithograph entitled Naval Aviation In Space, numbered #412/1000, signed in pencil by Alan Shepard, Neil Armstrong, Pete Conrad, Jack Lousma, John Glenn, Gene Cernan, Jim Lovell, Wally Schirra and Rick Hauck. Also signed in pencil by the artist R. S. Rasmussen. This handsome and impressive lithograph includes signatures of the first and last man to walk, as well as the first American in space and the first American to orbit the earth. The nine astronauts who have autographed this lithograph were part of a symposium held at the Naval Aviation museum in 1989. Rasmussen, curator and museum artist, published this edition as a fund-raiser for the museum, and the astronauts signed it at a ceremonial dinner. In very fine condition.
