Buttmann was a member of the Reichstag and the Nazi Party spokesman; Bruckner-Schlesien was founder and head of the Nazi party in Silesia. In 1934 he was dismissed from all posts and expelled from the NSDAP. Vintage fountain pen signature, “March 1933 brings spring to Germany. M[unich] March 3, 1933, R. Buttmann,” on an off-white 8 x 10.25 album page, with an unsigned postcard photo affixed above signature; and a vintage fountain pen signature, “On Hitler’s service in Germany’s Southeast, Helmut Bruckner-Schlesien, June 9, 1932.” In fine condition.
