Eclectic lot of eight items consisting of ink and fountain pen signatures of H[annibal] Hamlin, Charles Francis Adams, Edward Yates, John George Nicolay and Charles Sumner on individual cards and slips; a check filled out and signed by Zane Grey, dated October 25, 1929; and a one page LS, dated January 13, 1880, signed by Fitzhugh Porter. In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling, cancellation holes to first name of Grey’s signature and a few creases. R&R COA.
