Endorsed check, 6 x 2.75, filled out and signed Shock Rock anthology editor Jeffrey Gelb, payable to Stephen King for $300.77, for the foreign rights to King’s short story You Know They Got A Hell Of A Band, dated May 21, 1992. Endorsed on the reverse in red ink, “Stephen King.” King’s story appeared in Shock Rock in January of 1992. The foreign edition was published shortly thereafter, and King was obviously paid standard word count for this short story. Gelb’s notation in the memo line reads, “SR Foreign,” an obvious reference to Shock Rock. In fine condition, with expected stamps, none affecting clean endorsement. R&R COA.
