Italian composer (1834–1886) best known for the opera La Gioconda (1876). Unsigned musical quotation, evidently a fragment from a manuscript, consisting of approximately thirty measures of a vocal duo identified in Italian, with sung text, crossouts, and corrections, on a 11.25 x 8.5 sheet of manuscript paper.
