Lot of two items: ANS at the bottom of a typed letter from a fan, one page, 8.5 x 11, February 4, 1984, reading in full: “I don’t know if you can see it, but I did sign it—thanks for your interest. As far as posterity … well, if my kids remember me with love, I’ll be happy.” After signing, King adds the postscript, “[Photographer] Kelly Wise is a woman.” Also included is the magazine photo that King refers to in the note, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, “For Barry—Best wishes, Stephen King.” In fine condition, with trimmed edge to photo.
