TLS signed “Charles M. Schulz,” one page, 6.25 x 7, personal letterhead with a charming vignette of Charlie Brown and Snoopy at the bottom, December 27, 1965. Schulz gives some advice to an aspiring cartoonist. In part, “There really is not much more to doing this than presenting samples of your work to a newspaper or magazine. The size of the paper should be about two thirds larger than its printed size…The amount you are paid for your work is up to the buyer. Only as a cartoonist becomes more well-known can he expect to receive more money for his work.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition, with a light shade of overall toning, a bisecting horizontal mailing fold and Schulz’s signature a bit cramped between type. R&R COA.
