Personal check, 8 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Disney, “Walter E. Disney,” payable to Charles Cristadoro for $200.00, September 1, 1950. Notation in memo area reads, “Art work - Old Man puppet.” Double matted and framed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, to an overall size of 18.5 x 19.5. Charles Clarence Cristadoro worked for Disney briefly in the late 1930s, doing animator’s models for Pinocchio. Later in 1950 he returned to the Disney studios to sculpt the figures for Walt's Disneylandia project. In fine condition, with expected stamps and holes, with some holes lightly affecting first name of signature, a bisecting vertical fold and a couple small notations. R&R COA.
