Celebrated comedian and star of television’s Saturday Night Live and the films Animal House and The Blues Brothers. This is an original, color, signed Polaroid snapshot taken on the set of the film The Blues Brothers, the film Roger Ebert described as “The Sherman tank of musicals.” The photo depicts Belushi in prison garb and posing with actual Joliet Prison inmates. The photograph has been notated and hand-dated August 19, 1979 in another hand, and is boldly signed “John Belushi” in black ink on the reverse in the lower border. Typical minor crackling to the emulsion, as with most snapshots of the period, otherwise fine condition. A unique and one-of-a-kind treasure of a scarce Hollywood autograph. R&R COA.
