President Van Buren orders “the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to the envelope of a letter of ceremony to the Sultan of Turkey, and to the envelope of a similar letter to the King of Prussia.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Van Buren. In very good condition, with two horizontal folds, one bisecting signature, small stamp to bottom and some scattered soiling to left edge. R&R COA.
