A letter to Charlotte Becker in Buffalo on the reverse of a color picture postcard of ostriches in South Pasadena. In part: “Just got back from Sta. Barbara from seeing eclipse - - very impressive. This world is still a bit unreal. Saw also those destroyers on rocks - gruesome. Hovering on one foot wondering where next. But have been so busy motoring here. My zoo interest still holds. There’s a circus in the street.“ He has also written “Greet the librarian” along the bisecting printed line. In fine condition, with the latter portion of the signature light but legible.
