TLS signed “T. Roosevelt,” one page, 8.5 x 11, on very impressive and ornate Republican State Committee, Fifth Avenue Hotel, New York letterhead, October 10, 1898. In full: “My dear Miss Cook: I am exceeding sorry that I have not a photograph to my name. Faithfully yours, T. Roosevelt.” In fine condition, with scattered faint toning, edge toning, a couple of areas of trivial soiling. R&R COA.
