Handsome DS on vellum, in German, signed “Carl” on the final page, seven pages both sides, 10 x 12.75, August 8, 1716. A patent of nobility issued to the Benedetti family, penned in an elegant secretarial hand with elaborate decorative initials on two pages. Page nine bears a large, striking painting of the Benedetti coat of arms in red, blue, gold, and silver. In fine condition, with expected mild toning and soiling.
