Lot of four items. Ink and felt tip signatures of twelve members which participated in Jimmy Doolittle’s raid on Tokyo in 1942 on individual off-white cards. Members are: R. E. Cole, William Birch, Nolan Herndon, Bill Bower, Chase Neilson, David Thatcher, Clayton Campbell, Tom Griffin, Frank Kappeler, Horace Grouch, Robert Hite and Travis Hoover. Nicely double matted with a photo of the fleet on an aircraft carrier, which has been signed by Charles Ozuk, Davy Jones and Ed Horton, to an overall size of 26 x 20; a 7 x 9 signed and inscribed photo of Doolittle; a 1943 hardcover edition of Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo by Ted Lawson, signed on the half title page in blue ballpoint by Ted W. Lawson, who was the pilot of one of the bombers; and an out of production color Doolittle Raiders patch, the same as worn by the Raiders during their mission. In fine overall condition. R&R COA.
