An extremely scarce chart titled “Apollo 11 LM Powered Descent (Site 2),” 22 x 17, the information on which was used by the Apollo 11 astronauts during training for their historic space mission. The chart has been signed in various colors of felt tip by four: Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins (who adds, “Apollo XI CMP, July 16–24, 1969), Buzz Aldrin (who adds, “Mission accomplished! Safely piloted the ‘Eagle’ to mankind’s first lunar landing—Lunar module pilot—Apollo XI”), and Charlie Duke who adds, “This chart, used in training, helped guide Armstrong & Aldrin to successfully complete mankind’s first Lunar Landing! Charles M. Duke, Jr., Apollo 11 ‘Capcom,’ Moonwalker & LMP—Apollo 16.” Housed in a 19 x 24 folder with an Apollo XI souvenir patch on the cover. A superb relic from the most desirable and collectible of space missions! In fine condition, with mild, even toning, bisecting horizontal and vertical folds with pinhole at intersection, and color Apollo 11 images affixed later at upper corners (one covering a commemorative Merritt Island postmark from July 20, 1974).
