Lot of three items: Undated ALS to gossip columnist Louella Parsons expressing sympathy, signed “Gloria and Jimmy”; handwritten quotation from Seneca on a sheet with original pencil and watercolor floral sketches (not by Stewart), signed and inscribed, “To Janice May, Sincerely, Jimmy Stewart”; and undated TLS transmitting the above quotation. In fine condition, with light toning and usual folds and handling wear to letters, brushing to presentation inscription of quotation, and slight brushing to first name of signature on TLS. R&R COA.
