ALS signed “Moe,” one page with Three Stooges cartoon insignia in the upper left corner, 6 x 8, undated. A letter to a handicapped fan in Texas, who, over the years, became a friend. In part: “My maid didn’t deliberately throw your letter away, but I would say she might have been carless [sic] in cleaning my office. I have already sent Denis a monkey carved out of wood like one I have hanging on the wall of my office…wonderful progress you are making with your doll collection and how proud you are of the carved wooden character dolls. They are very lovely and I’ve seen a lot of them in Europe. Don’t pay any attention to these religious nuts that write you. I don’t supposed they mean any harm.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope in Howard’s hand, and postmarked June 12, 1965. In fine condition. R&R COA.
