William Butler Yeats at 70, signed by the poet and by his brother, Jack the painter

Irish poet and playwright; winner of the 1923 Nobel Prize for Literature. Remarkable booklet, 6 x 9.5, 16 pages, affixed at the reverse to a slightly larger page, entitled William Butler Yeats, Aetat. 70, reprinted from the Irish Times of June 13, 1935. The booklet bears a photo of Yeats seated in his library on the cover, and has biographical information, poems and photographs within. Signed “W.B. Yeats” in pencil beneath the left corner of the cover image. Also signed by the painter and brother of the poet, “Jack B. Yeats” in pencil, in the lower right corner. In very good condition, with a couple of areas scattered trivial soiling not touching the signature, scattered toning, small creases to the spine. The Irish Times had originally printed the contents to celebrate Yeats' 70th birthday. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
