Truman introduces an ambassador in an official letter of state

DS as president, one page, 10.25 x 14, May 15, 1946. A formal letter to “His excellency…The President of the Republic of Peru.” In part, “I have made the choice of Prentice Cooper…to reside near the Government of Your Excellency in the quality of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Truman and in blue ink by the acting Secretary of State. In very good condition, with toning and foxing to edges, punch holes to left edge, a few wrinkles and a bisecting horizontal fold. R&R COA.
