Deceased Basketball Hall of Famer who was a feared and complete AAU player who earned All-America honors in eight of 12 AAU seasons. Following the 1939 AAU campaign, McCracken was named the greatest player of all time by the amateur organization. Ink signature, “Jack McCracken, All-American A.A.U. 1935, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1942 of Maryville Teachers, Denver Safeways, Denver Nuggets and Denver Legion,” on an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 government postcard (postmarked 1/17/1944).
